Who would believe it, I am actually coding something.

Wargames 2 is the lucky game.

Beta D is almost ready for general release, all it really needs now is some form of Alliance creation and a help guide for the game which I'm in the process of writing.

Today's development includes:

Introduction of Elite units: special unit types that act as "commanders", stronger than the regular bunch and able to lead nearby units improving their morale in battle and thus their effectiveness. They are limited to one per town.

Nation Report: like the original wargames, nation report will do the handy job of giving you a recount of everything relating to your nation. At the moment, things such as new towns, research completion are displayed, but will naturally include stuff like towns being taken over, alliance changes, etc. Subscribers will get yet another new feature in Beta D, with an inclusion of a tick stamp of when they log in and out included in the report: a helpful way of seeing whats new without remembering which tick you left it at (and also to see if anyone is logging into the game in your key!).

There are also a few bug fixes which should help with testing the beta.

Once the last two parts of my Beta D list are complete and had the public tests to make sure everything is working, I shall upload and work on Beta E (and there shouldn't be too many after that!).
This was a triumph.
I'm making a note here
HUGE SUCCESS
It's hard to overstate my satisfaction

The Wargames sequel.
Acebloke codes what he must because he can.
For the good of all BYOND
Except for trolls and the dead

But there's no sense crying over every debug
You just keep on trying 'till you need a big hug
And the game gets done and you do a speedrun
But most importantly you're STILL ALIVE.
I have never played wargames 2, is it better than wargames? Wargames was/is one of my favorite BYOND games :P
Its a civilisation clone, still in development.
