Keywords: byond, map, mmorpg, qualify
Doesn't have to be an MMORPG, could be an MMOFPS...what qualifies on anything else as in WOW, Runescape, Flyff, etc. is not what I would qualify as a BYOND MMO...

So what do you think qualifies as a BYOND MMO? 200 constant people with a 3000x3000 map?

Does it need to be that big? Does it need to be smaller? Does it have to update like once a week?

What specs would make it qualify...
BYOND wont support a MMO that well, due to the massive lag spikes.
If you didn't realize...I said a BYOND MMO isn't comparable to a REAL MMO...

My question is...what classifies a BYOND MMO?

A real MMO is like thousands of players, etc.

What is a BYOND MMO?
regardless, MMO stands for massively multiplayer Online, BYOND has troubles supporting the first word in that acronym. I would say the trick to accomplishing something similar would be by creating a game that is scaled easily, more instances, more servers, smart AI system and a steady but fun leveling curve.
Well, in that case I'm referring to Massive in BYOND terms...which means 200-300...
