Well, I've finally purchased a BYOND membership, as you most probably noticed. For new readers (ie, everyone who finds their way to this post), my post titles are absolutely meaningless.

I just put my guitar away, and my fingers are in serious pain. I haven't been playing much, if at all, for about a month, and to make matters worse I've been doing whittling recently. When I whittle, my hands invariably receives a small nick, here and there. ie, my hands become littered with scratches that in of them themselves I probably wouldn't even noticed.

Until I pick up my guitar and tear off a fair portion of the skin on my hands. Maybe I'll drop my metal string fanatisism and switch to nylon on my accoustic for awhile?

I've been a Joss Whedon fan for quite some time, but prior to today I'd never watched Firefly today. Shameful, I know, but I'm becoming quite the Browncoat none the less.

In other news, I've recently figured out how to tie a couple of ornamental knots. This might seem a strange accomplishment to some of you, but they're actually quite cool. I might just upload pictures some time to prove that point.
