This is foolish.
If you picture a sentient humanoid species which was gender neutral or had an asexual reproductive system, I don't think they would resemble women. The bodily features attributed to women are there to support child-rearing. Now, if you were going to refer to a member of this species in a language with female/male/neutral pronouns, I think it would make more sense to refer to them with the male or gender neutral pronouns. Men don't have any child-rearing features, so if there was a gender-neutral species out there, they wouldn't have the features that make women. If you try to refer to someone that doesn't have female attributes as "she", it isn't right. Now, apply that logic to God, who I'm pretty sure doesn't have human body parts, so he doesn't rear offspring in the same way as humans. People that still get caught up in male/female superiority have a lot of time to waste. | |
