I recently discovered upon checking my disk usage on my PC that I have an overwhelming amount of MP3s (43.8 GB, to be exact). Having just updated my system's RAM (8 GB now), and the sound card (Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi), I think it's time I update my hard disk space as well.
Currently I have a 80GB hard drive with 3.0GB SATA space that comes standard with the Dell Dimension C521. Obviously that is a problem in itself, because I have over half of it occupied by MP3s (although that does make up the most of the space, as I'm running slackware12).
The hard drive in question at the moment is a 750 GB Seagate Barracuda with 3GB SWAP space. It's going to run at about $170, so it's going to hit my wallet pretty hard.
The question is, has anyone whom has used Seagate hard drives before had problems with them? Or, is there a better hard drive that won't crap out on me?

Seagate are one of the best.

I usually always go with Western Digital, had my 20gb and 100gb from them for around 8 years with no problems.
