Well, today I decided to give everyone a double-review, both by Elation, but both totally different games. The first one is "DBZrelegr8", and then I'll go on to review his other game, entitled "RG."
First off, I'll give you a sweet little review of DBZrelgr8. There isn't much to say about this game besides that this game is probably the "best" DBZ game out there. It combines seizurish tiles with horrible gameplay(reminds ye of any other DBZ game, eh? ;) ). When you first enter the game, you get about 500 random pop-up of noon-styled text, talking about random crap that nobody cares about. Once you enter gameplay, you get to walk around in seizure-inducing tiles, and a dancing stick-figure. Actually, this game is utter crap. Elation just made it to make fun of all those DragonBall Z fanboys out there. Hell, he even posted the following on the game's hub-page: "Warning: Do not play if sensitive to bright, flashing lights; poor gameplay; bad graphics; low production values; rushed development; lazy implementation; crappiness.
Source code has been released.
Warning: Do not rip. Extremely bad gameplay inside."(If that doesn't prove it, then what does?)
My second review of the week comes from RG, which is Elation's other game. In RG, you test your skill in hand-eye coordination. Once you load up the game, you click the button saying "Click here," starting the little tester deal in the game. Once you see the little "light" on the map turn red, you have to click the "Click here" button again, as soon as you see it. The time in which the light changes to red is random, so it could be at any time. Oddly enough, it didn't get old too fast. I started up, and found myself 2 hours later trying to raise my rating. Your rating is based on how fast you respond. I have no idea on what Elation uses for the speed rating, but I'm guessing seconds. Right now, my best is 4, which I think may be pretty respectful, but who knows. I really suggest you try it out.
Next week, I'll be reviewing wiz_chat by Wizzkid0123. Enjoy.(I now have Paypal, and you can donate to me to help me pay for another year's worth of BYOND subscription. Any donations will be thanked, and it may just help me witness a game of yours worth reviewing. Just enter the e-mail [email protected] in to the user e-mail adress at the transaction page(https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/ webscr?cmd=_transaction-run) ;) )

Darnit, Xeal. If I review your DBZ game, the next thing you know I'll get 100 posts on my reviews saying "revyiw mi zeta rihp!", so I'll think about it.

It may be, but once I review your DBZ game, I'll have more people wanting me to review their DBZ rip. Understand now?

wiz_chat is complete enough to make a review?
I suppose the whole command line aspect in the game itself is fun-ish. And the general community there is full of programmers to talk to about any ole thing. Which is quite interesting. Thats granted you get there when someone is awake. I'm not sure who said it, but I believe the quote was; "wiz_chat, where BYONDS finest, come to sleep" .> |
"[Oct 03 03:42] DarkView: wiz_chat, where BYOND's elite come to sleep." ~DarkView.

Awesome, thanks for the review!
Also, Iccusion-chat is the closest thing to Chatters I've ever seen, so maybe you should give that a glance too. |
