It's the first of a wave of arachnid robots sent from Pluto due to the rash decision that it is no longer a planet. The plutonians are angry, so they started building these robots to wipe out the human race. Duh.

This is pretty cool, though I can see how it'd be a bit mean on people with phobias. If I saw a gigantic statue of a hypodermic needle I'd freak out...
