Anyone else getting this? Is your copy of AVG (obviously, the free version) spamming you with a pop-up nagging you to buy it?
What the hell is that? I may as well just stick with the less intrusive viruses that AVG is meant to defend me from- at least when they suck up resources and screen space they don't try and sell me something. Jesus Christ.

Yeah, it seems every PC that uses AVG Free gets it upon updating at least once. I've only noticed it once per machine, though, so I'm not getting too upset. If it becomes common place, I'll find a new AV.

Get Avast! it's free and it's slightly better at detecting trojans and viruses due to using the Kaspersky engine, or just buy Kaspersky.

Oh well. <_<
I've only seen it come up once. If it starts bugging me about it once a week though, or once a day... Then I'll uninstall that shit and get a new one. |
I've got a cracked version of NOD32. Been using it for the last 8 months. Bloody awesome. want a copy?

Er- it could be that I've spent the last two days feverishly working on fixing up both my dad's PC and his laptop, during which both updated AVG and produced one popup each.
Then I got home at about 6 am, powered up my own PC and got the same popup. After about 15 hours of constant partitioning and the like everything just sort of runs together... |
