I TRIED EVERYTHING!!! I looked on Google, I used the help I got from another post I made, I used Yahoo answers, and probably anything else you throw at me. I follow the instructions, EXACTLY!!!, and my router doesn't like me. >.< I go here, http://192.168.1.1/Forward.asp then I have to type a password. (user name: admin password: admin). I click Applications & Gaming, Port range forward, Start 0-20, Protocol: Both, To IP address: 192.168.1.(xxx(What do I put there(the xxx)and how do I find out what my IP address is. I put 1 number in the box, tried it, didn't word, put 2 in the box, didn't work, I and went to 5.)) Don't say I forgot to save it, name it(I named it BYONDHost1 cuz it told me to)on enable it. I click on the enable box, save changes and it says something like [Save Successful] or something like that then I hit continue. Do I have to not enable it or something. Please leave me a comment with screen shots(if possible) and I don't know how to take screen shots or even how to put them on. But I would really appreciate if you made a post on your site with screen shots and comment the link here, thank you.
Finding out what your IP is, is really simple just go to
start > My Network places > View network connections*its on the side bar* > Double click Local Area Connection (name may be different) > click the support tab and then look at the IP Address 192.168.1.xxx(i'm not going to say what mine says)

but thats what your supposed to do hope i helped.
Or you could go to Start > Run > type Command > ipconfig and thats the last 3 numbers you need (its under Ip address (192.168.1.XXX) those XXX's are the numbers you need to successfully set a port) and there you go!

Thanks, one more thing. I see that you didn't share a IP, are you sopost to keep it to yourself or does it matter, I don't want your IP, im just wondering if you have to make sure nobody knows it.

Thats your Personal ip that you get from the router that no one else can see and the only thing keeping it different from a lot of peoples router ips is that last XXX everyone else joining you sees a different ip so i guess its for security reasons.

I got 2 question. 1. How does BYOND change the IP when joining and 2. I wonder how long this reply will be O.o
1 : byond uses the ip your ISP gives you the ip you set in your router is merely the ip the router gives to your computer so byond uses the one given by your ISP(Internet service provider)

2 : Shortened because i took out the Quote tags =)
