No more pager for non-members? Please tell me if this is true!

My friend has been deeply disturbed by rumours saying once July 1st comes, only members will be able to use the pager. I myself plan to subscribe, but he does not. Can you please tell me what is true?

It's true. $15/Year for Pager and a few other perks. Look under announcements in the Dev. Forum by Mike H. for other details.

But, if you page him first, he'll still be able to reply.

If Members send a page, then non-Members can respond to them.
Hope that clears things up.

You can use the pager, just no message sending.

Actually, it clearly states "improved pager response time", probably meaning that you will still be able to send messages, but only at the speed it sends right now.
