Well, I finally broke down, not really for myself, but for my wife. I went to get her a cell phone for her birthday, and got one for myself as well. The price difference was pretty minimal. Pretty nifty little things, actually. We got LG Rumors. They've got some issues, and I might have picked differently had I looked around a bit more, but I like them. And more importantly, my wife likes hers.
I'm sorry, Flick. We can no longer be friends you cell phone wielding fiend. =(
You only just got a mobile phone? What is wrong with you?

Well, I'm a bit of an anti-social bastard, I suppose. I kind of like being 'out of touch' all the time. If you want to talk to me, you better catch me when I'm home.

Of course, now I have a cell phone. I'm just not going to give the number out to anybody :P
Women LOVE cell phones! They can nag at you night and day on them, gotta love the modern era! ;P
A cellphone doesn't have to have anything to do with being social! Why just last week a buddy of mine had a blowout on the freeway and needed some help. He called with his cellphone.

The cellphone was an invaluable communication tool! Without it he would have either walked home or hitched a ride with some random serial killer.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

I understand the benefits. That is mostly why I wanted to get the one for my wife. I just figure I've managed to get by for 40 years without one and I kind of hate to break my streak ;)

Not cool man. I thought we were bestest of bestest friends. But then you betray my love and trust like this. =(
Welcome to the world of normalness. You will never be able to go back into your previously fun life again.

Only Cell Phone I'm getting is a phone that runs on fuel cells.. Eventually..
Excellent, now I can text you with "hey do u luv me still" at all hours of the night!

haha, I just barely got a cell phone too. I used to dispise them, until my car started breaking down and leaving me stranded.

I got the Kyocera Lingo. It's really nice and hasn't given me any problems at all.
I have the Motorola ZackMorris
Congratulations on entering the realm of slavery... er I mean service plans... yeah, that's it.

I'm anti-government stalking. Never carry a cellphone with you for when you murder someone! Worst mistake ever.
question why would you murder anyone in the first place lol
My phone tells me the time and plays music for me on long train rides. Otherwise, now that I'm partner-less, it barely gets any use at all.
You can call me, Tibby.
I actually just got my first cell phone in February as well. I hadn't ever needed or wanted one before, but I thought I might be getting a job out of town and wanted to keep in touch with my friends.

Prepaid. 1000 minutes. No need to worry about stupid service plans. After the thrill wore off, people quit calling me anyway.
