Making games on byond and playing them will always be free unless the person that made the game charges you to play it. You may say: "But in BYOND 3.5 the BYOND membership costs money!" Well, the byond membership is not for making byond games and playing them unless someone puts somethign in their code saying you have to be a byond member to do a certain thing or even play. The only things that cost money, to my knowledge, are the pager(partly) and owning a BYOND member page. Both come with a BYOND membership plus a year free subscription to BYONDScape.
