Is it possible to read variables from an Object Type that isn't physically on the map?

Provided they're are movable atoms (/areas and /turfs have to be placed on the map), yes. But take note that there has to be some sort of reference to them. If there isn't, the garbage collector will delete them.

The short answer is yes. And the longer anwswer is "YA LOLZ U CAN DU DAT CUZ CODING IS FULEXIBULL YAH LOL GRAMMAR LOL INTERNET". Err, I think I got that confused with the stupidly-written answer.. meh. |
I am bumping a very old topic. By saying... And the longest answer (Proudly Longer Than Sprouts) would be:
"Of course you can, for coding is a complex thing, but once you define the object and there is at least some sort of reference to them, you can read the variables of them, but only if your a coding wiz, and actually have any idea what in the world I'm talking about, and why I'm even going on and on, or even posting on this topic period." ...I have no life, it seems. |
