TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE
Thank you for becoming a BYOND Member! We need your support to keep the system running, and truly appreciate your willingness to become an important part of BYOND. By using the BYOND Membership service ("Service"), you agree to these terms. If this Membership is a gift, the gift recipient agrees to these terms by using the Service.

We're confident that anyone who becomes a Member has the best interests of BYOND at heart. However, to make sure everyone on the system has the best experience, BYOND Membership is provided subject to the following Terms of Service ("TOS"). Violation of the TOS, as determined by the BYOND Staff, may result in a reduction of services provided to you, or a termination of your BYOND Membership.

2. CONDUCT
Once you become a BYOND Member, your BYOND Member site is yours to use as you wish, with a few limitations. BYOND will not accept sites with clearly pornographic content (as determined solely by the judgment of the BYOND Staff) or with content that causes a significant use of bandwidth for purposes that don't benefit the BYOND community in some manner acceptable to the BYOND Staff. It is your sole responsibility to ensure your site's content does not break any laws or contracts.

We want to allow free expression of ideas on BYOND Member sites; in particular we want the BYOND Member pages themselves to reflect the personality and interests of the Member. However, in cases where the BYOND staff determines that images or content on a BYOND Member site are detrimental to the interests of BYOND, the BYOND Staff may choose to filter or remove the images or content, such as from search results, site summaries, or the BYOND forums. In extreme cases, the BYOND Staff may determine that the content of a site is so detrimental that we must terminate the BYOND Membership.

Inappropriate conduct in other areas of the BYOND system, such as creating pager spam or harassing other users, may warrant termination of BYOND Membership. BYOND Staff reserves the sole right to determine what conduct is inappropriate.

3. MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE, LIABILITY, AND WARRANTIES
The BYOND Staff reserves the right to modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. You agree that BYOND will not be held liable for any modification or discontinuance of the Service.

You also agree that BYOND will not be held liable for any damages of any kind resulting from your use of the Service.

The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. BYOND expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

4. TERMINATION
Either you or the BYOND Staff has the right to terminate your BYOND Membership at any time.

If your Membership is terminated by yourself or the BYOND Staff, there is no obligation for a refund of any amount you have paid for the membership. In the event of termination, the BYOND Staff will determine whether you receive a partial, full, or no refund on your membership.

The BYOND Staff takes BYOND Membership seriously, and wishes to provide you as much leeway as reasonable to allow you to use your BYOND Member site as you will, within the bounds of being a good citizen in this exciting community.

1.) There is nothing there about making posts directed to specific people.

2.) There is a section about harassment, but in it harassment is defined solely by the staff, as are the action taken against said harassment.

3.) You are a public figure, and as such you should really learn how to take criticism. (i.e. with a grain of salt)
was just saying "Inappropriate conduct in other areas of the BYOND system, such as creating pager spam or harassing other users, may warrant termination of BYOND Membership. BYOND Staff reserves the sole right to determine what conduct is inappropriate." counts as against the TOS, and making posts with no content other that

Post content: I dont like them

Is harassment, obviously its up to the byond staff, as would be any TOS they dont have to pull the cord on anybody for violating it especially because, lets be honest, they dont give a shit. However, my post was 100% valid. I honestly dont care what people say about me, but i do believe that having any post made directed at a specific person you dont like is incredibly lame and shows how much somebody on the internet has bothered you. Which makes you a dork.

I'm sorry, but I don't think I see any posts like this on the front page. There is Rugg's latest post, but it apparently has a bit more than "I don't like them"- including a little whatever-note to you about a bunch of his friends who felt the urge to tell him about their (and his) lord and savior Masterdan.
will you take the anime guild now :(

you guys actually do things for the RP guild, you could completely half ass the anime guild and im sure your team would still beat the living crap out of what SSGX has been up to (nothing).

There's a slight problem with that. The people that run RP Guild DESPISE the anime guild. If only SSGX would actually do something. :(
but but but, they dont even have to love it, just treat it like the bastard child and give it a decent home and feed it table scraps!!
The only reason we appear to do good is because we have about 1/3rd of the member base, and our member base happens to consist of 13+ year olds that also happen to be slightly mature. The internal structure is crap, now that everyone can submit reviews. Basically, it breaks down like this:

Commanders -> Game Manager -> Member

And we still don't have to do that much, other than making sure that reviews don't get absolutely out of hand and putting the smack-down on people who submit anime games to our guild.

:*( to put it in perspective, the anime guild would probably piss its collective pants if we got a news post on a monthly basis. My god the top 3 original games in the guild arent even on the front page and flame wars get out of hand so fast!! Audeuro your the only person who is relaxed enough to saaave ussss.
