http://developer.byond.com/hub/Masterdan/ MD-Server-Control-Panel

Its simple, its not hard to make and yet few people make a second byond environment to keep the main one running. So I made one that is flexible and works for any game. Go ahead and use it its pretty straightforward.

Sucking up much?

Anyway, I'd rather see the source code to this utility first, who knows what kind of stuff you could be transfering to a offshore account. You could be stealing DMBs for all we know!

What happens if the control panel crashes? :)

hehe, then we would have a catastrophe!

Btw, i just realized this wont do much good for linux users (or digitalmouse!) so il probably make a version for command line :o
Not to be a nit-picker or anything, but wouldn't this be considered a demo if you don't share the source code?

Other than that, nice job. I kinda have an idea of how you did this. The only part that I don't get is how you stop the server.
When I try not to get a server not to crash I go to hub, file, preferences, and then the games tab. I disable the display map graphics. o_o

most people host in dreamdaemon too, :) but we still get the crashes because byond 4.0 is super buggy.

whats the point in hardcore servers
how do u host a server

If you mean dedicated 24/7 Linux-based BYOND game servers, then the answer is that they are usually more stable for hosting games (although the recent 4.0 series still has some teething pains) than hosting with Windows. It's certainly more secure. And they often have far faster internet connections than the typical home user.

Of course, your mileage may vary.
