Cow RP is a round based RP game, each reboot you lose your character and start a new round. It has 3 game modes:
- Normal
- Peasant
- Kingdoms
Firstly, let's start of with Features and Gameplay: Cow RP is the most flexible RP game that i've seen, it has a nice underground mining system, and a good building system which lets you build you own house, shop or whatever you want! But your Main objective is to do what your character class is supposed to do, eg. A necromancer would try to overthrow the king, where as the class such as a Royal Guard would protect the king and follow his orders.
Onto the gamemodes:
Normal
Normal Mode is where there is 1 castle, and you pick your job and just roleplay it.
Peasant
This mode in my opinion is the most boring, there is no classes, your just a peasant and theres no town, just a field of grass and trees and YOU must build the town.
Kingdoms
This mode is my favourite, there are 2 castles: Cowmalot and Bovinia. They are either allies or at war, it has all the special classes such as; mage, preist and necromancer. You must be loyal to your country, whatever class you may be.
Rating for Features + Gameplay: 9/10 (There's always room for improvement)
Secondly, moving onto the graphics.
The graphics on Cow RP arent the best graphics in the world but what really counts is the gameplay, right?
Rating for Graphics: 6/10 (6 because I just love the game, lol.)
Lastly moving onto the community side of Cow RP; most of the people who play are excellent at roleplaying, however some find the need to kill people for no reasons or pathetic reasons such as trying to gain a Rare item, or because you killed them the last round. However the moderation is very strict and if you report it immediatly to a GM the culprit will most likely be instantly banned from that particular round.
Rating for Community: 6/10 (6, Just because..)
Overall rating: 8.5/10

Sadly, CRP is not well respected for it's moderation, as you have claimed. I've heard many of the admin tales from some of the staff myself, 'Bov is an idiot' 'i do all the work' 'rules getting switched, ect ect.
But yes, as some people below have pointed out, not all the staff is well loved by the community, and thier 'strictness' needs to applt to the apperent rulebreaking that they have been accused of doing. | |
I really enjoy this game, I truly do. I just hate how some people seem to think of it as a great place to kill people for no reason. Look- if you wanna play a game to kill people, play unreal tournament or some shooting war game. This is an RP game. You're supposed to work as a community and act like you're supposed to. If you wanna RP as some dumbass who only takes pleasure in murdering innocent people, then you should go somewhere else. So no, Griefing is not funny. some rounds, I work really hard to make things like taverns and houses to enrich the RPing experience, and taking that away from someone and just wasting their time shows you're just stomping down the reputation this game should deserve.

A wonderful game, though I just wish it was more... Dedicated. Like Old Finale. The dedication of the players to RP and teach other to RP and for once, people use normal speak instead of netspeak.
Other thing about the people inside the game is, the community is a very angry one. People get easily annoyed and sometimes makes extreme mistakes such as "I'll report you for capturing me! It's griefing I have done nothing." Now really the person have tresspassed the royal castle and forced his way into the castle, but the guard is a smart one and bonked that measles head before entering. In many cases. The people are unfair and the Admins/GMs needs to make a stand on their rules so it will be enforced entirely. RPing is hard for some, though you'll learn it. I have been worse than worse to RPing though now I'm one of the best. Cow RP has alot of good things. It could go over the top if they just for once took the staff by their necks and begin training them to become excellent Admin/GM then there would be no Griefing problem. People would come and be happy. It's about keeping the majority happy, not the minority who cannot RP and think it's somehow a fighting game or some cheapscape use the old "Bunk, shackle, lock up." Move without any reason. Secondly to the people THINKING they are good at RPing should for once know that guards, knights, every kind of special classes, though not peasants. Actually doesn't walk around with their swords drawn all the time unless they are going to war. It's odd to see Noble Knights running around with their helms on and a sword drawn inside the castle when their not expecting any killers. Just to those who takes the RP to the max. I just don't like people who think they are good RPers though bad as for worse than worse. You don't walk around on the street with a gun in your hand. It's holstered if your an police officer. So just learn it.. Be reasonable. Hope some of this information would help out the community of Cow RP | |
I'm so glad that Bovine_Buddy made cow rp. Im making my own game but i just need to know how to do coding. I hate it when the game sometimes gets bugged and nobody can play. And how come the other cow rp's? Like Cow Rp:Platformer. And the other one cow rp something something. LOL.
