Anyone with a dash of sense can easily see what he meant. And what he said made perfect gramatic sense too. He refered to iconers in the way people say 'friends' as a possesive term. While the open source comment means that he uses a mixtue of icons taken from open source locations, and those created and given to him by his chums, which he and many others refer to as, 'iconers'

I don't think dyslexsias the problem...For instance, the stargate online banner even has a mispelled word in it. Blame idiocy.

Yurgeta, people don't play a game because the icons are good, and the sounds are good, and there are things todo. People play games because administrators are fair, the player base is mature, and the game is fun. Your game has none of those. You blacklist games, are you next going to say if SGO isn't on a members favorites list they aren't allowed to play? Blacklisting is ridiculous. Your game is run by an idiot, and the game just gets worse and worse.

Okay, as someone who used to greatly assist SGO with various duties and has since quit and been banned I'd like to offer my opinion.
Data's review is accurate. Is Yurgeta entitled to be an asshole and ban anyone who disagrees with him at the slightest drop of a disagreement or an insult? Yes. But Data's review was perfectly fair as well. Yurgeta, this is not an insult to you. This is an accurate review of your game. If you don't like it then you can a) Ignore the review. b) Post sensible counter-arguments instead of insults and claims that this is Data being jealous/vengeful. c) Take the critcism well and use it to improve SGO for the better. You have taken neither of these courses of action and only furthered Data's score of SGO's administration. Yurg, I'm not attempting to insult you. I'm giving you advice, at the most I dislike you for ruining a game I once loved and played daily. But you CAN make it better than it was before. You simply need to take advice and stop going on power trips banning people who disagree with you or start new games heavily inflenced by SGO. I doubt you're still reading this but if you want to improve SGO please follow these suggestions 1. Listen to advice. Only ban people who are disrupting the gameplay of others. Don't silence others, let them express there opinions so you can use them to better SGO. 2. Since you are not a programmar, find one you can trust and is a sensible calm person. 3. Ask your community. What finally made me quit my position and playing SGO was when you stopped doing this. You began ignoring us and doing your own thing despite our protests, even ignoring attempts at comprimise. Your community is what makes a game, USE them. They have ideas and opinions you can use. 4. Start over. SGO's source is bloated at this point. Having code from plenty of different people. Some of my own is in there as well I believe. 5. Stop taking everything as a personal insult. They're words. Deal with them civily or ignore them entirely. Essentially. Start with a clean slate. Remake SGO with some who can actually program, you do the icons. Listen to the community and others. If they find fault, correct it, not insult them. | |

STOP making fun of Yurg's dyslexia. The only thing that bothers me about it is that he refuses to run a spell checker to correct his mistakes, after he tries to do it without help.
Like Data I have nothing against fast written messages like on forums and this review. Also, Yurg hates criticism, because it's the main reason I keep getting banned over and over. heh. Yurgeta has given up and deleted his SGO hub entry. He will be using Popisfizzy's idea to list his game outside of the BYOND Hub.
Whilst this will make it impossible for him to advertise his game properly on BYOND, at least he won't have to endure a review posted on the hub entry. Although the actual review to the game will stay behind, waiting for future generations to view it. End score Data: 1 Yurgeta: -2 -- Data | |
