Hooray! A lack of intelligent programmers and un-lazy programers leave BYOND to die helplessly in a pool of it's on blood! Perhaps the developers of BYOND will make their come back by allowing all byonders, members or not, to use the byond pager as they please while gaining profit for adds! Win-Win situation! Instead of taking away the byonders pager, why not just simply add advertisements to gain profit and perhaps promote BYOND gaining more players, thus more programmers, thus more games... and even profit for BYOND Developers! Think about it instead of allowing BYOND to slowly erase itself from the interweb. Quickly, while people still enjoy playing here :)

yeah, while i agree with your suggestion, the average game quality and player count has gone up (slower than it should) since the zeta boom.

You know, I already check this blog every week for Tech Tree items (due to BYOND Tactics). You don't need shock posts, faux or not. ;)

I believe Lummox commented recently that one of the reasons they restricted pager to members was to get rid of multi-key pager spam and things of that sort.
