Anyone else play it? I've heard you Byonders talk abut Civilization every now and then, but didn't pay much attention; got the Gold Edition for $3.00 at Walmart and its pretty cool so far..I pretty much suck at the moment though..

Eh I didn't plan to get it, I just saw it and bought it. Besides, there's no telling f my outdated comp could even handle Civ 4..

I still play CivIII every now and then. I never actually tried to do any of the crazy stuff that people do in the game, though my Dad is pretty big into it.
Also hehe at the UNSTOPPABLE STEAM ROLLER STRATEGY. | |
I bought Civ 3 and all the expansions individually when they came out but haven't really played it since getting all the Civ 4 stuff.

Oh yeah, I wonder if you can beat my record for ICBM rushing in Civ III.
The earliest I've gotten ICBMs is ~1400s AD. Of course, I kind of skipped a bunch of other essential technologies, but in the end, I brought all of the other nations down to their knees with my nukes.
