Execpt, I also made a dithering function for it, and its more exact on what to make 1-bit, and it puts anything in .dmi, so you dont have to remake the .dmi files, so its alot easier for 1-bit game makers to transfer there icons into 1-bit, and have it look better, and with less editting to be done.

Well yeah, but if you already have icons, and would like to transfer them into 1-bit format, or make a huge gfx in color(easier), then transfer into this, so it would also be a 1-bit gfx, you could do the same with hub and stat panels and such.

So you replicated something already available in every graphics editing program available, even mspaint? Just because it's available on every other graphics program, doesn't mean you shouldn't make it. Even you would know that. |
Oh sorry, I just tested, and my dithering proc broke, but I updated the game, and now dithering works, I will even show an example of professional graphics programs 1-bit result compared to mine, you can even test it out yourself. And to add kickers, pixel art the same 1-bit image, as best as possible, and see which one looks best.

I wouldn't recreate something like this in the same way I wouldn't make my own A* pathfinding since Deadron already did. Unless, of course, it was to better my skills, but in that case I wouldn't go bragging about it. Also, what the fuck is a gfx? |
Airjoe, this is made for the ease of players, who need to use it for byond, and they can mess around with it too. And in my next post you can see adobe's version compared to mine, mines 10x better. And works perfectly for byond(By converting it into a .dmi).
