Acheron Party/Gamers Pilot launch details! --- The BYOND Event of the Century?

Okay, so it might not be the "BYOND Event of the Century"... but based upon what I talked about last week, I've made the decision to launch the full Gamers pilot online this Sunday.

What: Gamers Launch Party!
When: 11:00 AM PST, Sunday
Where: Acheron's Awakening play session, the Silk Games forums
Who is invited: Everyone!

Come join us as we play Acheron's Awakening and watch the entire 16 minute Gamers pilot on YouTube. If you enjoy the pilot, we'll be encouraging people to go to Digg.com and digg up the news of its release! I'm going to send out a mini press release to the Gaming sites that wrote up articles on the trailers earlier this year as well.

For those of you who didn't make it last time, I promise that just showing up to try out Acheron's Awakening will be worth it... but I'm confident that everyone will also get a kick out of watching the Gamers pilot!

Calling the the "BYOND Event of the Century" seems kind of big headed of you.

Pssh, the "BYOND Event of the Century" belongs to the release of 4.0, it felt like a century has passed since BYOND 3.0 ;/

Here's the fun part... Youtube only allows 10 minute videos. There are some exceptions but unless you're one of those you'd probably have better luck uploading it to http://vids.myspace.com because they don't seem to limit length.

Damn, two things I've been waiting for and due to dialup I can't do either. Can't be online until late night, and sixteen minutes of video would take forever to load =P.

Actually, TNN, Silk has a directors account at youtube, which allows for videos greater than 10 minutes.

I guess I should have got one of those then. I had to split Sx12 in half because it was 11 minutes long.
