I believe Nintendo mentioned a feature that developers could tap into with WiiConnect24 and that feature is game updates. You know, new maps, songs, levels, etc...

So basically I got to thinking if SSBB would be the first to actually implement this feature. As I believe fans of the game would like to see other characters added to the roster of Smash, and if this one lasts as long as Melee, people will definitely like to be able to play with new characters. Also, this would make the game's re-playability even longer.

If Smash is supposed to be the game that shows the Wii's true potential, I think it should take advantage of all the Wii has to offer, especially WiiConnect24.

What do you think? Wouldn't this be a cool feature?

I feel it is.

Post your thoughts.

Trust me, It will be worth it. I just know it.

Even today I could still play Super smash bros. Melee. Brawl is a massive predecessor to it.
