It is now about 2½ days until my wedding ceremony. I'm not truly nervous yet, mostly on account of being freaked out about how much left there is to do. The worst of the moving process is behind me, but I have plenty of stuff left to pack and the computer itself still hasn't been transferred. Today I got a nasty surprise that the T-shirt I'd be wearing (it's a blue jeans ceremony) was not, in fact, an extra large. It says XL, but I'm guessing that's only true for the good folks in Singapore who made it; on this side of the Pacific it's generous to call it a large. Finding a 2X at Banana Republic could be a problem. Finding an actual XL without lettering or logos, and in the right color, in any store will be difficult.
Due to time and budget constraints, we won't be going on a honeymoon. We pretty much have an extended weekend off. Unfortunately until Monday, there will be no cable at the house. That means no TV, and no Internet. I guess that could be worse.

Congratulations! Who needs TV and internet?
|
Congratulations! I can relate to how you feel; I'm getting married a little over a month from now in December.
|
Congratulations!
And think it as this way: this weekend you would have lesser amount of distraction ;) |
Confibultations!
Do you really need TV and Internet if you are going to be in a house with your new bride for the weekend? Honestly? If you have a bed, that should be enough to keep you busy most of the weekend. |

I figured reading the same thing might get old. I remember reading the post about your engagement years ago. Leave it to Lummox JR to explain the different forms of Fiancé in his engagement announcement ;] http://developer.byond.com/forum/ index.cgi?action=message_read&id=364796&forum=7&view=1 for the curious. |

I used a CAPITAL LETTER, beat that Airjoe! Quite fortunately I find my work and computer to be enough to keep me busy, having a wife would only make it worse. |
Congrats! If not too late, you may want try any custom T-shirt place- they often have colored shirts on hand.

The guy is getting married? Sheesh, how have I not heard this yet?
I don't know who you're getting married to yet, but I think you know what you're doing. So congrats! Way to go! You dog you! Where's the beef! |
