Well out of nowhere today (probably due to all my animating) I somehow came to the conclusion that Casey Jones from the T.N.M.T series has to be the best cartoon character ever.
I don't know why specifically but the fact that he's hilarious, bad-ass-looking, and beats down people with a golf bag full of random bludgeons throughout the streets of NYC in the name of trying to be a hero may have to do with it. I dare you to find me a better cartoon character, DARE YOU... And you will probably be wrong.  -Love Ken. P.S: My random fact was true. | |

You know what's even more staggering? Most of these atoms have existed for billions of years in a completely intact state. Our body only rarely converts energy into matter or vice versa. So it's like gathering up trillions upon trillions of marbles, sticking them all together in a fashion that makes them produce work, losing a million marbles every day, and picking up completely different marbles to replace them every day.

Casey Jones was a vigilante who beat up deserving criminals with sports equipment, favoring hockey sticks. Finding a character to trump that would be pretty difficult, although Daffy Duck is a contender.
However, if "cartoon" extends beyond the animated realm and into print, then clearly Calvin wins hands down. | |

Freakazoid and Space Ghost are cool in the comedic sense, Freakazoid more than Space Ghost of course. Sadly though they cannot out-awesome Casey Jones.
Freakazoid was funny but the character itself wasn't that great, he was just the mask with less wit IMO. The only thing that makes Space Ghost even remotely cool are the supporting characters and/or interviews, the old super hero cartoon was lamer than his costume. Daffy Duck might be a good roll too, but sadly he was only second gun to a cross-dressing rabbit. At least when Casey Jones was contending with the stars of his media, he usually won. | |
Bugs Bunny..He dressed up like a girl, played sports and even was a gangsta rapper on robot chicken..That's not even half of what he's done though.
