So after looking around for a decent DBZ game... -Rant Post-

I'm astounded at the quality of the dbz games of byond.

Not one of them is good. Ive logged into about 10 or so games to find the same exact login, even map. These people arent even trying to make a good game. They're sad excuses for a good game consists of "ssj1-15!!!,new guilds!,naruto clothes, and lets not forget fast leveling 2x! Ive even seen a game saying its nonrip and best dbz game on byond. When its got completely ripped artwork which is sad.

Then theres the people sitting in game with like, every single clothing item on + 5 or 6 electricity icons thinking they look awesome. Is that supposed to look cool?

I can now see why people are waiting for FOL and DBO2 now. Its given me quite a bit of motivation now. I sure as hell wont be halfassed in working on the dbo2.

Im not usually one to rant like this but damn, the lack of good dbz representation on byond is sickening.

than take this for sure its true theres no good dbz games in byond anymore but theres one thing if dbo 2 takes too much to come people wont play it here is the reason people dont see dbz as they used anymore since its getting old i used to see it when i was 12 and now im 22 and at that time dbz was around in japan along time so we arer growing someday we will stop liking dbz and thats what will make dbo2 fail like others because its taking too long and when it releases after awhile we well lose interest in byond and stop playing i know many people that left byond already for that reasons.

No crap! I am sick of all of these crappy DragonBall games as well.

DBEO (DragonBall Epic Online), the first DragonBall game on BYOND, is still the best one on BYOND. What does that tell you about the quality of DragonBall games? No offense towards the game though, because it is a great game, no doubt about it, but you would expect a good DragonBall game to come out after 8 or more years.

Not too suprising. You always try to have faith but when you actually login into the games you see that it isn't just people mindlessly complaining; they're pretty much unoriginal. I logged into one DBZ gamem yself the other day and it had a title screen with a different name from the window title. While I was creating my character though, GMs appeared and put black icons over it to "scratch" it out.

Yea, I would like a decent dbz game, same for bleach. Thats why we are working faster than ever on Bleach Boukendan, tired of the rips >_<

It's heartbreaking actually, forget BYOND there is actually no good online DBZ game anywhere.

Who knows what the real Dragonball Online MMO will have to offer, but even then there's no US release date.

Well there is one DBZ Game thats in the making, and its not on BYOND, i was waiting for it along time, it looks amazingly like DBO II.

Geez, you have low standards. That game you linked to is utter shit. The icons are GBA Legacy of Goku series rips, SSJ2's lightning didn't have motion and how the fuck does 'spells' and 'magic' factor into an authentic DBZ world?

That guy is doing nothing but using some fantasy RPG system and half-ass plastering a DBZ face to it. If you've been waiting a long time for it, you've definetly wasted your time.

Yeah that does look pretty lousy storm... It looks like a really bad BYOND rip with a halfway-decent 4.0 interface.

Wow dude, wouldnt you think that happens to everyone about everything in life in general? Of course people are going to get tired/bored of something eventually and move on, its pratically the way of people's lives. You cant just write off that DBOII wont be successful, if maybe you were to say that the game would probably become less popular after a couple of months maybe 6-7 after its release. Then maybe I can see where your coming from. Just like GOA people will play DBOII, like any other original game set to release soon, a fanbase is already made and in waiting for the release of the game. As for the people leaving BYOND portion, thats ones own opinion its not like we can control or persuade people to stay longer.

yeah I actually thought DBZ warzone was original till I logged in and seen thos old hant teeth bases. Anyways yeah I cant wait till DBOII is ready for release, Ill keep supporting it.

Actually, that engine's been out for quite some time. Maybe not as long as DUNG/BYOND, but still it's had its glory back in the day. As soon as I saw the GUI though, I could instantly tell it's Playerworlds or Mirage Online's engine, especially from the stats and such.

The most famous Playerworld Game is Jerrath. It was fun back in the day, but too many changes led to it's downfall.
