I got an email recently from some "fred mputo", and the subject was "REPLY ASAP!!!". Normal instinct is to click it at once, but alas! I'm a smart little boy!
The email size is only 15k, but I don't know much about this stuff, so it could or could not contain a virus. Then again, I know no 'fred mputo', and the name sounds jumbled and generic. Second of all, I haven't been doing much lately, so I don't know what could be so important that I'd need to "REPLY ASAP!!!".
Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?

Probably a Viagra Ad.
|
I got a mail from a "Janie" saying that she saw my ad on match.com and she wanted to meet me and she gave a bogus cell number and asked for a reply.
I was going to reply to her to tell her that I dont have a match.com ad and that she must have the wrong person, but the e-mail didn't go through. Turns out it was a scheme to get valid e-mail addresses for sale to spammers. |
I wouldent open it. Someone sent a virus email using my account on netscape. luckilly it got sent back to me. But anyway, REPLY ASAP!!! prolly means THIS CONTAINS A VIRUS!! OPEN THIS!!!. same thing happened to my school. some ass teacher opened something she shouldent have, and it messed up every computer. stupid jackasses. meh. Just delete it.

I got an email from "Your mom" with the subject header "I'm horny, wanna hook up?".
Well, I replied and now we're happily having a secret affair. =) |
omg! my mom is a schizophrenic homicidal transgendered necrophiliac. I'd be careful!
