Woo, cost me some money but GOA has now become in possession of a Quad core Intel 2Gig ram rig with a wicked connection.

So far its been great! i was testing it with 31 people online playing actively and the CPU usage was at between 1-3%. Unbelievable. Right now im keeping this server capped at 200 players, expect me to lessen that as we get it tested. The connection is currently throttled but by tomorrow it should be set up completely. For all the people who didnt like the servers for GOA, this one should serve as the backbone to the community.

PS: I really need to figure out some fun things to do on this bad boy with all that extra cpu! :D

PPS: the connection of the server is an OC96.

A friend of mine owns a hosting company, I paid him 170 of donated funds for the setup of the computer and hes doing the rest for free.

Of course the speed is nice, but byond doesnt want to run my game on linux without crashing because of some mysterious error message.

Hes doing it for free and putting me on his connection. He owns a datacenter or something. He actually has some hookup from an uncle or something. Im like leaching on this super powerful network.
