The all new, button smasher, story thriller and epic series has returned:
StreetFighter IV
No platform has been confirmed yet, but hopes we get it on Wii. According to an article a while back, capcom said everything they make will be mutli-platform or some sort of sequel will be shared. However, since Wii got MonsterHunter 3 would we get SFIV?
At least Capcom won't have enough resources to make this game a PS3 or 360 Exclusive but maybe both.
It would be a wise move if they made it on Wii to get more profits than on PS3 etc

It's going to be PS3 and Xbox 360. The Wii has no features that would benefit from the SFIV game. The only reason they'd possibly put it on the wii is for profits, and capcom rarely does that.

They would be stupid to not put it on Wii on business/profit terms like you said :P It'll be awesome to have MH3 and SFIV |
If they keep it true to it's roots, I.E. 2d sprites, I wouldn't see why they would keep it exclusive to any system.
Anyways, I hope to god they create and release the arcade controllers for what ever systems they put the game on. Using a d-pad in Street fighter sucks balls. |
the fact that you refer to Street Fighter as a "button smasher" removes any credibility you once had
"story thriller"? have you even played Street Fighter? haha |
DUDE STREET FIGHTER IS a button smasher, and you are saying you never played or watched the series for its story? What the fuck did you play it for?
I played it for fun too but i also liked the little story ending :P |

I was going to point that out, but I figured I give you the benefit of the doubt. Street Fighter doesn't have much of a story, and it's about as far from a button mashing fighter you can get. ITT: Fanboys who only wish to have a game exclusive to their console of choice just for the sake of it being exclusive. |
the story is
"yo man we need to kill this guy" "yeah" "well let's all fight each other for a million rounds before we do it" "yeah" I play Street Fighter to fight, not to read the one-liners at the end of each match -- which is essentially all there is for a story. |
and, yeah, blah blah you're an idiot for thinking it's a button masher.
clearly you are chillin' in scrubsville |
I get blisters on my thumbs when i play street fighter against my mates, not saying i press anything just fucking them up before they fuck me up XD
(Not syaing street fighter is a game you just press any button to do anything but a game where you use certain buttons consecutively for certain pwnt combinations, make sence? >.<) I thought the other street fighter comes had a pretty nice story :/ The anime was pretty sweet i have it on my hard drive :) |

yeah but doing button combinations != button mashing
no game is really a button mashing game, only a person is a button mashing player. |
XD but when you play in a hard game against someone you always vs you tend to go all out on the controller?
|

no, no I don't
unless I'm playing as Makoto but even then I'm not doing things without thinking about it mashing will virtually never win you a game against someone who knows what they're doing |
SFIV is not worth the high costs of putting on the ps3/360 so they might as well give it the MH3 treatment and make it wii exclusive.

Capcom has already had a pretty big success on the 360, and are already developing several huge IP games for the PS3 and 360. Oh let's not forget the SFII Turbo remake they're making for the PS3/360 that isn't finding it's way to the Wii (though I admit could change). |
