Where did he come from?
Was he the first thing Dan/Tom drew up for BYOND, or what?

For some reason I never mean to come to this blog....but the topics usually draw me here. As for the question...That's the best question I've heard BYONDwise..How come nobody's ever asked that before?

Sidenote: They should change him to a bunchie.

Well, my topics must be pretty kickass if you never want to come here, but do anyways!

Also, Bunchies are everywhere. Maybe a BYOND BlueGuy on a Bunchie, but not a Bunchie

Anywho, does the BYOND Blue Guy even have a lower half?

I changed my mind since im not really that busy and im back onto DMCGI :P.

I am not sure this is a very good question from my memory he never did :S.

The blue guy was drawn up by Dan while he was on walkabout in India, IIRC. Gughunter drew up the icons for the BYOND applications before Mike H replaced them with some POV-Rayed icons.

How about the blue guy riding a bunchie through the konoha gates with a dragonball in his hand..and he's shoving a soul slayer through the last robot standing after the lvl 20 spider in castle has just wiped out their entire fleet of next-century wargames fighters.

Off-topic: What ever happened to TANKS :(

TANKS was awesome and still is most the people on BYOND never heard of TANKS by shadowdarke.

He appeared when Tom accidentally said the world "BYOND" when they were brainstorming what to rename D.U.N.G., and they found it as an omen so they renamed DUNG to BYOND.

StarTraders sucks, and I'm not just saying that because I thought of LordJR as a talentless hack. ;-)

It's a game which is completely ruined by the lack of any form of saving system. The game needs a saving system in its present incarnation, and the lack thereof completely cripples its playability. What's the point of playing if every time you log in, you lose all of your progress? To say nothing of the fact that you're deleted if your connection is dropped due to intermittent internet belches.


@Mechana2412: BYOND as a name was chosen quite deliberately. Personally, I still think they could've sold DUNG to investors. =P

Jtgibson i totally agree that it is useless playing it without being able to save but it also a fun game despite the lack of saving or not in my opinion.

I wish I knew of these games being talked of :[
