I have some thoughts:

Although you seem fairly professional in your approach (it's obvious you have some business knowledge), you should try getting potential contractees more excited by bombarding them with an attractive website with lots of game-related art. You'll find people will take you more seriously then and want to help out more. Your trailer is disappointing in that it doesn't offer anything relavent to the game other than text that could have been on the site itself.

Also, building any decent 3D game, especially a 1 player game, takes a lot of man power. How do you plan on getting enough 3D game developers from a website where only like 3-5 developers (one being me) total have any 3D game experience at all when you aren't paying them for their time? Most of them are too busy to help out others without immediate compensation, and I know from experience that you could get 30 developers interested and only 3 or so will help out once or twice. To top it off, with it being so difficult to find developers, potential developers that DO see this will think their work will be in vain and the game will never be released.

One thing you could try is offer a project-based learning experience for developers not currently involved with 3D development, and have the game be the project. The problem with this is it will take a long time and you'll get some low quality code.

Just some food for thought.

Also, I have a question: What is your role in this company? Personally, I wouldn't trust my time to a person unless they were either well-funded or were extremely skilled (any task that they couldn't get developers for they could potentially do themselves, in other words.).
Not to be rude but it sounds somewhat lame, and I am open to most games. Also:

"You move to the mountain where you make a cabin-like home out of a huge tree trunk that is hundreds of years old. You are alone only to be accompanied by your dog."

"You only take with you a weeks worth of food, your rifle(w/ammo), knife, snow shoes, heavy coat and matches."

How do you make the cabin if you only take those things with you ???
