Are people too busy playing it or not enough people care enough to ruin the ending of this "mediocre" shooter like people did for Harry Potter? I myself can't say I'm much of a halo fan because for one I haven't played singleplayer, nor have I played it more than about 3x a year at a friend's house or something. But to the subject at hand, I wondered this because I saw a video yesterday about this guy who spoiled the ending of Halo to some angry Halofans expecting an apology. Funny stuff.

Btw, seeing as how many Halo fans there supposedly are, this could have possibly worked alot better than the 2 BYOND IS RUINED!1!1!!! spam attacks we've had today in my opinion. It would have hit fans in their weak spot for major damage, if they so happened to glance at the forums instead of actually playing the game.
It's not a really plot heavy game. Apparently there's stuff going on in the books, but even fans seem to admit that the games don't go that deep into the plot. I don't really know what's going on that well (and the game makes no effort at explaining any of it), yet I'm still enjoying the game.
I can't see how being told that he saves the world is meant to drastically ruin the game.

The thing that annoys me is the fake spoilers. I mean if you're going to be an ass about it at least go through the effort of looking it up.
Master Chief gets stranded, Johnson dies, and everyone thinks Master Chief was lost but really Cortana sent out a distress signal which would take "years" to be recieved, so they think Master Chief is dead. And Master Chief seals himself in a pod and says "Wake me up when you need me".

Aye, the games give pretty much the bare bones story. The books however shine a completely different light on the whole affair, and are quite enjoyable surprisingly.

Edit: People that purposely go out of their ways to spoil and ruin something people are looking forward too are tarts, just because they personally don't like it. Be it Halo, Harry Potter, or some other thing.

Or in the case of Halo 3, less than the bare bones. I suppose if I was up to speed with Halo and Halo 2 I'd be happy that I didn't have to sit through three levels establishing things I already knew about.
Ending was leaked before the game was even out, but it isn't plot heavy at all.
No, the thing is, some people have absolutely no life (like Basik) and think they are cool and funny, but in the real world they are losers (like Basik). They try to get attention so they bring up spoilers, when the fact is, nobody likes them and doesn't care to give them attention.

If they don't like the game or whatever, they feel they have to bring up spoilers because they are bored and have nothing else to do. That's how bored they actually are. They really have no life or friends that are normal. When I say normal, I mean friends that go out and do crap instead of sit around the house all day wearing clothes that look like crap because they are losers.

This is pretty much what Basik is.

I know Basik, the truth hurts.
