Poll: Would you be interested in a text-mode Dragon Quest/Dragon Warrior game?
Only members of can vote.
I've been thinking of starting a DQ(Dragon Quest) project that is designed for text-mode byond, which means no graphical icons or sound. Mainly so that the offical non-windows clients can play it fully, a sort of byond text mud if you will. Would anyone be interested in helping with such a project? Please post a comment if you are, and if your a non-member you are also able to post so don't be shy please. Thanks in advance for reading this. Also, to potential players, please vote on the poll attached to this.

Yep, sounds fun. I might be able to help with some coding if you need it. I'm not great, but not bad.

You do realize Linux users can play GUI games now, with the help of WINE.
(They could also run it in VirtualBox, and it now supports seamless integration.) |

I've always felt Dragon Quest games were reliant upon their trademark visuals; although they may not be amazing, I definitely believe that it adds a necessary aspect to the series, especially the older games.
