Aight, so I figured I'd start here for those who wish to play GOA, I will be posting it on their forums as well.
Q:What is a build?
A: A build is a specific way you make your character or shape your character based on jutsus, stats, fighting style, and what naruto character you might want to mold them after.
Q:Jutsus cost so much... and there are so many I want...
A:You should limit the amount of jutsus you get to a good 5-12 jutsus max depending on what trait or clan you have selected.
Q: What is a trait?
A: A trait is an option you can pick besides being born into a clan, they are basically the non clan with added bonuses, this can allow you also to live the life of a normal plain ole ninja that isnt from a specific overpowered clan from the manga/anime.
Q: Aight, so I want to be like Hyuuga, Neji, my favorite naruto character, what should I do?
A: Aight, for a neji like build, you want the Hyuuga clan tree, Chakra efficiency passives, water walking mastery passive, kawa mastery passive, weapon mastery passive, heavy fist passive, evassive, tracking, and swiftness. As for your stats you should focus mostly on Con, rotating between one and two points between rfx and int so you can land strikes in jyuuken and still purchase everything.
Any additional questions and such you may have, I can help, or any opinions on how to make a build based on a char or your own unique individual build.
The natural opposite to the naruto build, The sasuke build!
-uchiha clan -Sword mastery -every raton you can afford -sharingan level 3 -The insane speed level 25 passive -Shunshin mastery Using shunshin for the surprise RFX boost then attacking with the sword causes heavy damage, raikiri and raton sword also inflict direct wounds and do killer damage, this build is the opposite to the uzumaki build because while you deal heavy damage you have low chakra/stamina and therefor if your attacks are evaded or you get caught in a trap, you could be pooched. Get high RFX/INT, reflex makes your sword do high damage and INT keeps you full of skillpoints so you can later buy the fear genjutsu as a complement to your sharingan to stun before landing raton swords and such. |
Just so you know..you do not have to pick leaf village at the start. Being different is good. Should check out all the clan and non clan jutsus and try to find something you would like.

God knows theres an epic kaguya/puppet build you could throw out here. cmon just make the puppet/medic "chiyo" build. |
Puppeteer build FTW prs!?
So before I make this epic build just to let you know due to Dan economy codes, you will probably be fucked for a good day or 2 til you understand that you will have to mission whore with 3 others to be able to buy a puppet after I do. Sooo Basically since you are a puppeteer you will need some con. Q. Why? A. Because there is about a 50% chance you will poison yourself during an epic fight and poison takes your chakra down which would be needed. Now you bought a puppet woopee. And you bought the summoning skill, omigash you will own soon, no? K so basically what most puppeteers focus on is int. Q.Why? A. Because landing a hit with a puppet manually(Once you press F with your puppet out you will control it like you are controlling yourself)is hard, so the best way is to gen the person. In order to do that you will need Int. Also the more int you have the more skill points you have to buy more jutsus quicker than others. Win win situation. So heres the run down of the jutsus you should/could have Puppet summoning 1 Puppet swap Gen(Paraylse) [seriously though you could win an entire fight with juse those and your basic jutsus you get at the start but I will go on for later on what you could get] any katon(it will stun the person it hit giving you enough time for your puppet to use poison bomb) Throwing weapon specialist passive 3 or 4(since puppets weapons will require your supplies) Puppet summoning 2(just incase your first one die you can summong another one) Now you could win a fight with just that right there but once both of your puppets are dead you will have to fight with something else. I suggest sword. It blocks throwing weapons and do good damages. So the basic puppeteer build focus on Int/and a mixture between str and con. But thats just the normal everyday build most people use. Be different. Go uchiha. stay out of suna. O_o its late so yeah had to rush my build.. I will edit later Oh and you buy weapons for your puppet. Poison bomb(throws a ball of poison and when it land it poisons the person and stun them. your puppet is immune to the stun but still take damage from the poison though) Hidden Knife(its name says all) Chakra shield(a shield that protects the user if the puppet is doing it on them or if a homing jutsu passes the shield) Needle gun(its name says all but oh well, a fast gun that shoots needle most likely a 1 hit KO) Poison tip blade(you put poison on your puppet "hands" and when your puppet hit someone the person hit gains 4 poison seconds, it can keep on going if the puppet keeps hitting) Body grab(your puppet grabs the person you are targetting if they do not move for 4 seconds and does massive damage. this gives you time to try to make this into a combo if you have enough time or if the person doesnt die) Note: everytime you log off you need to reset your puppet into the right "Slot" not the items even though their numbers go away. Your puppets will be the first items in your inventory so just set the first one to puppet summoning 1 and 2nd to puppet summoning 2 if you have it. Oh and let me tell you being a puppeteer cost a lot of money if you didnt know already. And dont name yourself sasori that pisses me off...oh and if you see a puppeteer name Hei or is called by that name make sure you insult him on sight. |
Orochimaru Build V1.0
(Created from closed beta testing) Fighting style: A Quantity and quality combo style, because of the genius trait used in conjunction with it, you should take care in macroing more then the given spaces. The uzumaki build (he wont die!)
-Will of fire perk
-Evade 1,2,3
-Kage bunshin
-Kawa mastery
-taijuu kage bunshin
-rasengan
-The second wind level 25 passive
-Get high STR and CON, giving you epic stamina and chakra (for kage bunshin) youll be hard to kill due to the extra max wounds and high stamina amounts (as well as evasive techniques) the rasengan is always deadly because if you can land it your pretty much gonna inflict massive wounds, and rfx and int should be purchased interchangably with more of a emphasis on rfx. Then if you can afford it get heavy handed and swift passives to be a close up taijutsu type.
