Astronomers, on Thursday, found that a region on the universe, billions of light years away is devoid of galaxies, stars, and even dark matter.

Using CMB[1] , a type of electromagnetic radiation that fills the entire universe, astronomers found a big gaping "cold spot", devoid of CMB, in the constellation Eridanus, southwest of Orion.

Isn't that something.....
:O Queen Arthosas Vag is definetly old news.
Proof that black holes exist? Maybe there is some alien race with a superweapon that somehow owned that part of the universe? :o The largest black hole ever to exist?
Obviously the cause is the Protoss.
If its billions of light years away the image that they saw is extremly old, maybe its changed by now.
It brings up the following question:

Was it always empty, or did something huge blow up to push everything out?

We already know black holes exist. This isn't a black hole. Please read the article. >_>

Scientists are currently almost certain blackholes exist, and the centers of most, if not all, galaxies are probably supermassive blackholes. The one in the center of our galaxy is about the size of the solar system.

Anyways, a blackhole is ruled out because they emit radiation from the matter falling into them (X-rays I believe). This is something entirely different.
That would only apply if matter was falling into it.

They probably know there aren't many black holes in there because of a lack of gravitational lensing.
