For the past few days I have been searching endlessly for a half-decent free XML editor and now I've finally found one.
If you need to learn XML efficiently, you'll need an editor with at the very least, syntax highlighting and validation with proper error reporting. This program does this the best out of everything I've tried so far, and has a ton more features than the other freeware:

The biggest problem with most other editors is either their UI completely sucks, or their validation features are crap. You'll be ripping your hair out without proper validation.
