Having misplaced my usual program that I create drum tracks with, I went in search for a one to use for the time being. I came across Rhythm Rascal and decided to give it a try. I put recorded a short little song to test out how it worked, and over all I like it. The drum track in the following song is very simplistic, but I don't think it sounds too bad. Check it out for me! Short Song |

As I already told you, I think it's good. :) Nice find.

Where do you get your drum wavs from, Volte? Those samples in the recording came with the program, actually. It's a free download, so you might wanna give it a try. |
Yeah I'm just playing around with it at the moment, it seems pretty damned cool.
I used to use Live, which is quite pricy (cracked of course >_>), but this looks so much simpler for us, we have everything for our band except... a drumkit. Lol. |
To be honest, the drums don't sound that exceptional to me. Compared to most MIDI cards, they're great, but compared to many of the professional MOD artists out there, or to the genuine article, the drum samples are terrible. =)

As long as it's not MIDI, it's okay to me. Though I wdouln't mind some really nice samples. :P |
