Well lately I've just been putting up with it, but now I feel I deserve to take this extremely pressing topic and burst with an emotional rant.

Just kidding, but it brought you here now didn't it? Anyway one more day of this lousy dialup connection and I get my happy-faces-bundle-of-kittens-yet-slower-than-cable DSL connection established.

I already have the hardware, I guess Verizon likes to send it earlier as to tease me with it, but this means that I can upload more screenshots and possibly download DBZ episodes for substinance!
Wow... what a world you must live in where cable is faster than DSL <_< Here, those unfortunate souls who have cable deal with a sucky connection and down-time almost every weekend.

See, in Canada, it's the other way around: DSL isn't stable AT ALL over here. How many times does one have to call his ISP and ask for them to open a ticket with Bell so they can send someone at the premises, and bullshit the customer with a "modem defect" diagnosis when the problem really is that the wiring isn't shielded well enough? Too often, if you ask me about my experience as an ISP tech support rep.

Dunno about the US, but in Canada, cable's the way to go!

Well I didn't get the "high speed" DSL package at first, I figure it'll save me on my first bill when I pay for the hardware, but wow this stuff's alot faster than I expected.

They said this form of internet was comparable to dialup but this DSL that I have is ALOT faster.
