The city hall in the village of Ankara is an important place. If you’re ever lost or don’t know what to do next, chances are that a visit to city hall will point you in the right direction. Aside from directly assigning you many story-based quests and goals, the city hall can provide you with a plethora of other information.

The game’s bounty system is going to be key to profit and survival. In the city hall, there is a list of all the current bounties in the game. Here you can also place a bounty on another player.

Why would you place a bounty on someone’s head? Perhaps they’re an officer in a rival guild. Maybe you want them dead for harassing you or attacking you, but you aren’t powerful enough to do it yourself. Whatever the case, you can post a bounty on anyone for any reason, and it will go on the list.

When you arrange a bounty, you immediately deposit the reward for completion. Be it gold or a special item, once the bounty is made, the reward is waiting for anyone who completes it. Therefore, the system is totally automated, and if you complete a bounty then you can be sure to receive the reward.

When you kill another human player, you can pick up an artifact from their corpse to prove your victory. If a bounty has been placed on a player’s head, you can return this artifact to the city hall to cash in on the reward.

Aside from player-arranged bounties, the computer will automatically place bounties on people as well. This can happen randomly… you may be perfectly innocent and minding your own business when a bounty for you pops up in the city hall. This can also happen if you’re a notorious player-killer. Needless to say… whether the computer or another player is after you, you’ll always be looking over your shoulder.

I expect that many players will be able to make a living off of this system as professional bounty hunters. If you’re not the type of person to join a guild, then you could simply be a hired-hand every now and then.

City hall serves another important function—for a small fee, anyone can post a “classified ad” that will appear on a public list, just like bounties. You might be a guild looking for new members, or someone trying to find a specific item for trade. When it comes to trading items, you will be able to deposit the item/gold that you want to trade for the item in your ad, which allows for the same type of automation as the bounty system. Place an ad, then just check back to see if someone has gone through with the trade and pick up your item.

That’s all for now… I’ve already told too much. Once I make my "Silk Games" member page look prettier, I'll post this type of stuff over there.
The bounty system sounds awesome. I just hope that if a person is a good player with a positive alignment, that chances of getting a random bounty will be very unlikely; I know people have their grudges, but I'd hate to try my hardest to help out in the community, then get killed by other players just because an NPC wants my ear. :P

While talking about the bounty system, why don't you leak a little more and tell us about the death penalties? Please? ;)
I'm just hoping that killing someone and getting an artifact from them won't mean that the killer can easily claim any later bounties placed on the person.(If people can respawn after defeation)
Hrmm... artifact harvesting might be an issue. IE a bunch of players just kill each other over and over to stock up so they can fill bounties. Or when a bounty shows up on a player, they just kill them with an alt or clanny then go collect the reward.

Good points... but I think that I've dealt with most of them.

Random bounties assigned by the computer reward you by giving you experience, which can't be traded or shared. Because players have to input their own items or gold when creating a bounty, item harvesting shouldn't be too much of an issue either.

Additionally, the consequences for being killed by a human player outweigh the potential benefits of letting someone else kill you and sharing the bounty, or even logging in with another key and killing yourself for the reward. As it is, logging in with two keys that you own should be prevented by the game anyway.

Once again, good points though. The system isn't perfect, and players are certainly creative when it comes to finding ways to take advantage of the things.
You are kinda weird
That's quite a bump, there.
