Think of it this way. Would YOU want to watch a female try to use a wall-mounted toilet?
That'd be funny and disturbing at the same time.

Would YOU want to hear some petite little girl go into a toilet and make the ceramic bowl rumble? I'd just rather not know thanks. That said, how are you going to pick up a chick, if she goes into the bathroom 2 seconds after you and you're standing over the toilet letting a big one rip thinking nobody is around.
Besides, chicks go to the restroom together so they can giggle and gossip. Nobody wants to hear that shit, why do you think they get their own bathroom? So we can belch, and they can flap their gums. |
Once I went to a gig my friend was playing at. That night, me and all her friends went back to her house to sleep. I had to sleep in the same room as like 7 girls or something.
OH MY GOD. THEY DO NOT SHUT UP. Seriously. Girls gossip. 24/7. They do not sleep. I think the mundane subjects they talk about actually let their brains sleep whilst their mouths keep moving. I didn't catch a wink of sleep that night. |
Gug- so if I was married to another guy, I wouldn't want him going into a toilet with other guys? You wouldn't be married. |

There are functional patterns which develop as the least costly path for a repeating event. Consider a hallway with many people walking in both directions; if they all walk as they please, the time taken to walk from one end to the other will be greater than if they all walked on the right side of the hall (from their perspective). Patterns like this are sometimes codified (like in the case of traffic laws) but more often they develop on their own.
I don't make any pretense of understanding exactly why the pattern of separate bathrooms is the most functional (or at least a local minima), but I don't see any reason to try and change a pattern with such great inertia. |

Looking at Elations last post, and using that(along with it being 3AM where I live), I'm wondering if you're a girl. The real reason girls have their own bathrooms is because they have cooties, and guys don't want to catch any off of a toilet seat a girl just used. That's just icky. |
Girls would never feel comfortable in the same bathroom as guys, at least in school. you'd get tons of peeping toms.
|
Girls and guys have different bathrooms for reasons.
Girls bathrooms smell like menstrual huts, and guys smells like someone pissed all over the floor (which almost always happens) Girls go to the bathroom to pee talk, change tampons/etc, talk, and put makeup or whatever Guys go to shit, pee, and fart, sometimes to smoke. Its different for reasons, no one will ever be able to deal with it. as for the gay bathrooms? They can just deal. |
You weren't having a problem with toilet-pregnancies in your nation were you, Elation? :)

I personally wouldn't mind adding that third "Gay People" restroom....although that wouldn't help the Gay people with an issue like Vortezz has*. It's not like we're going to hit on you just because you went to take a piss in a bathroom. -_- |
Haha, what the hell? I must have been pretty tired when I posted this*.
*Do you think that's a good enough excuse to forgive the stupid things I said? |

(Not that I have anything against bacteria in general. Some of my best friends are micro-organisms. Honest. ^_^)
