They killed Johnson.
JOHNSON.
THEY KILLED JOHNSON.
The single coolest character in the Halo series.
Let me rephrase that - The ONLY cool, badass sunova bitch you'd ever see in the series.
AND THEY KILLED HIM.
Atleast he went down fighting.
See you, space cowboy :'[

He needed to die, Bungie did a good thing. Now only if they would kill off Master Chief...
|
If anyone needs to die, it would be the Arbitor. Then the Chief.
But not Johnson. I'm thinking about goig and telling EB to take my hold off of the Legendary Edition for H3 just because of Johnson dying. But, the AI in the game looks challenging now. So I might keep it just to fight the brutes. I mean, if the drones can kidnap my soldiers and the brutes are throwing/smashing/ripping apart(litereally) my soldiers and vehicles, I got to give it a try. Johnson is the bad ass black dude in the Halo series. http://youtube.com/watch?v=AmCcV1wEOUI http://youtube.com/watch?v=2XXu39pnt68 |

Oh well, I'm not paying for it, even though I did question why he did it. :\ Tiko, http://youtube.com/watch?v=-NZodGQ0G90 At time stamp 0:13, that is Johnson getting his ass handed to him. Horrible. |
I don't see any proof that that is Johnson. Plus, "getting his ass handed to him" and dying are two different things.
|
If you go to Bungie and watch the bigger version, you can see that that soldier is black, and Johnson is also the only soldier who doesn't wear a fancy helmet, only a hat.
And I meant that he got his ass handed to him before dying. I'm assuming that he does, anyways. And still, if he doesn't, I am still pissed at why they did that. >[ |
If Johnson is the only black guy in the company of whites, it's his job to die right before the final victory. This is just movie rules, folks. This means that Halo 3 is the last entry in the series.

They just showed him getting beat up by a brute. It doesn't mean he doesn't die.
I actually think he's an immortal demigod, and can revive himself. He after all died and kept coming back in each new level of halo 1, and he somehow survived the ship/halo blowing up with him hugging an elite. And he was non-killable in halo 2. |
The ending with him hugging the elite is an easter egg, and isn't considered canon by Bungie.
