Good evening and welcome to BYOND Labs! Here you will find a view to the inside of BYOND: a series of reports, updates, and musings on current and future developments with our beloved creation. This is where the BYOND development team will inform you about bleeding edge features that haven't even made it to our beta testers - anything that's too early to announce but far enough along to talk about. Or post screen shots. We also may write about small server updates that don't warrant a full blown announcement.

This is your window into our laboratory. Check back often to find out what's really going on in between updates. And don't mind that bag on the floor over there - there's nobody in there, really!

For now, I leave you with something I've been working on a little bit the last few weeks. This probably won't see the light of day for some time (we have a lot of higher priority things to get done first), but it's been a fun diversion. And I certainly do intend to make it a priority after 4.0 is out, along with all of the other platforms in need of a real interface.

I really hope there is a linux verson coming in the works, I really would be excited if even the pager was like this!

(For some reason, I like the Mac pager better than the windows, I guess it looks more sharp.)

Yeah, got any pictures for us linux people? =)

If you can't consider yourself a friend, I'd say you've got issues. :) No bug that I'm aware of.

Not yet. There's nothing like this in existence for Linux yet, but as I said, I plan to make alternate platforms a priority after 4.0. The OS X version started as a fun diversion for me to learn Cocoa and figure out what's necessary for BYOND guis.

Kill/blackmail, don't look at me. You can send your bribes this way, though. :) I'm hoping to have an update fairly soon - I have something in the works for this that'll benefit Members using the Windows pager as well. Once that's done, I'll just need to have Tom add in the appropriate hooks to the Windows version.

I got a new laptop for christmas..it's a iBook G4, which means it's a mac. It cost me $1,700 and I can't play my favorite game on it, BYOND!! When will this thing come out so I can atleast chat with my friends on it in a version that makes sense to me?
