Input - Retain text

Issue hasn't been assigned a status value.
It would be nice to see when you activate a command from within a Input retain the text instead of deleteing it after activation.

I setting to check to allow this option would be nice to see I'm sure many would enjoy this feature.

Can be done via code/byond interface.

Can be, but interface code is slow and flunky.
If you were creating some kind of search system, for example, it makes sense to leave the text in the box after searching.

I'm not sure if there's any secondary behavior to the "Don't use this control for commands" option, but it seems like an easy way for the BYOND staff to implement this would be:

-) Rename option to "Don't clear input on execution"
-) Don't disable the command box when it's selected
-) Always run a command if one is defined

Then it's the best of both worlds.

Yeah, this seems like a parameter would be best. Perhaps auto-clear=true as the default would be sensible.

Anything on this? It's small, but that should be more the reason for it to have been added already.
