I've decided to use my byond membership to create a list of rips. It is my hope that people will see a game in this list, and decide not to play it, since it's the same thing as 100 other games.
If I have included a game and it's not a rip, feel free to politely visit my forum and create a new topic. You may also contact me using the Byond Pager, but do not expect an immediate reply. Also note that if you are rude, or spam, you will be banned from contacting me.
If anyone wants to help me construct this list, please send me a Page with the hub address of the game in question. Spamming will get you pager banned. And I'm deleting any posts with no content.
I am aware that I will make many enemies by doing this, but I have no desire to play your rips in the first place, so the loss on my part is zero.
Anyone is able to leave a comment here, even if you don't have a Byond membership. Do not abuse that ability.
Stop the Rips.

I find it ironic that you're posting a guild about stopping rips, and upon looking your 'favorite games' list, I can see several games that are most likely rips. I'm saying most likely because I haven't seen the source files for the game, and I'm not an idiot as to make claims in stone that I have no proof for, however my assumptions are most likely correct.

Hold on, I just realized something... you're favorite games are the games you deem rips? How does that make sense? Wouldn't they be better in a custom box at the top, and your 'favorite games' be the ones you don't think are rips?

I'm not certain how to add games to a guild without them being listed as Favorites, but if you wish to bash without thinking first, be assured that you're doing a fine job.
If a game is identical to a known original, it's a rip. The owner is free to show me that it's not, but as this is the first time anyone's done this to my knowledge, feel free to help rather than hinder. If you could, please help me out with making a custom box someplace. I still want my guild to show up on people's hubs if possible. I'll contact you via Pager, Mikau. | |
Even though I was wrong about your 'favorites' being your 'rips', you're still promoting games by adding them to that list of yours.

There's is a custom box feature in the layout manager.
You'll have to list the games yourself, they won't actually display the hub information like they do with the favorites list (although with a little HTML, you can do that yourself), but it'll get the job done. | |
I'm a modern HTML newb, so that's not gonna happen by this time next year.
I guess this list will evolve as time goes by, hopefully into something useful. | |

Its a good concept but you forgot the mother of all rips, Nbotls.
You cant have a serious rip page without adding nbotls. Cheesburger, just realized you favoritted the rips. Dont reward the games that suck lol. | |

lol.. listing all games that are rips will take AGES.. granted src code viewing is kinda like erm, not possible, but general playing of the game will tell u if it is or isnt due to the way there presented, yeah they might remane bits and bats, but come on, most games dont even think of that O.o 100 dbz games, 100 narutos games.. atleast dbz kinda stoped poping up somuch i guess, naruto took over lol, but basicly all ur doing is advertiseing games for the ppl who ruun them, u might sucseed, but u also more likely to just boot there rateing and player cap.. but good luck with it neways..

The point is to draw negative attention to these games. It will likely encourage harassment of these games. In fact, I want it to.
Okay, made myself a Rips box and removed all the rips from (heh) Favorites. With Mikau's help and a little browsing though the byond front page using a text editor, I refreshed my memory a bit. I'll be adding games to that list as I get to them. And thanks to Legendary Goku 10, for saying Friends List when he meant Favorite Blogs >_< | |
Dragon Warrior Heros Destiny is a fangame, not a rip. The code was done by me and not taken from another game. Please make sure you adding real rips.

@Canthus: Dude, he doesn't list rips in his favorites anymore. He adds them on the right side of his main page. The game in his favs are actually HIS favs (or original games, see it as you will :P)

Yes, what Miles said. Please make sure you're talking about my rips list, not my favorites list. I put the rips up top because people come here for rips to spam. My faves, if they start getting attacked, will be hidden if necessary. Let me know if that happens to be needed.

Actually, what you should do is change your title to something better, "Cheeseburgermafia's Guild" then set it to hidden, using an image instead, you can set the title of the page to "Stop the Rips" so on the off-chance that your guild does appear on the hub pages for these people, it won't show up as "Stop the Rips" on games that aren't, and will just show "Cheeseburgermafia's Guild"
