I've been searching...

I know what I'm looking for, and I know what I need. Getting it is the problem.

I've been talking with my aunt, and she works evenings, which means I'm usually stuck with the kids, however we need more money. Her working alone isn't cutting it, and well... obviously there's 3 kids here that someone has to stay with.

As most of you know, I do NOT like people, nor do I like going out for most reasons. So what I'm looking for is a way to work from home. Tibbius is a work from home job, however it's just starting and isn't making any money as of yet. I've looked into places that say you can make money from home, but they all seem like scams.

There's got to be something out there that will work, although I'm not sure where to look.

I know a while back there was this guy that my aunt knew who was making a good $1,000 to $1,200 working from home, basically stuffing pictures into envelopes and stamping them. The pictures were of pornography and he did it for 3 years. The only problem was that after 3 years, the people that he worked for were arrested because it was an illegal business, and he didn't get caught, but had to get a real job.

Avast, I am lost!
Try getting an office job that you can do things from home for. Ask around for office jobs, explain your situation and see if they're set up for people working from home.
If that fails, see if you can do odd jobs from home for friends or relatives. Childish as it sounds, if you find one you like or that you're good at then you could put up some flyers around town or something and maybe bring in a bit of cash.
Good luck in getting the job you want!
Gag the kids.
It's a tough one. 'Work from home' is like the ultimate bait when ripping people off, so it casts great doubt over any job that offers it.

Another path you might look into, and it's far from glamorous, is booth work. As say a car park attendant or a toll booth. It requires interaction with people, but it's in a 'hi, that's $2, bye' way. People might lengthen their hi to a 'hey how are you' where you just say 'I'm alright, you' and pretend to care. A few bad customers will pop up, but most jerks are in too big a hurry to get out to annoy you.
In something like a city car park you also end up with a fair amount of downtime so it actually makes it possible to get a simple second job within your first. It can be hard to find a job that you can take into work, but they do exist and when you can do it without impacting your main job the extra cash is worthwhile.

You've got family commitments to think about, so it may not be right for you, but most of this stuff pays a decent rate if you're willing to work nights and I would imagine that could be used to create a shift style system for the kids.

The only other option is childcare, and that sucks for both you and the kids. There's nothing worse than being over five and getting somewhere after school every night. Not to mention that anywhere decent costs major cash.
