HAHAHAHA...
Okay, so where could he possibly go? Start with these conditions:
1) Kobe counts for $17.7M against the cap.
2) Any trade with teams over the cap, the traded salaries must be within 25% + $100K.
I'll say again, HAHAHAHAHA...
Maybe the Chicago Bulls? Their core is very young with Deng, Gordon, Hinrich, Thomas... all make under $4M; No way the Bulls trade them. Ben Wallace you say? A $16M salary on a 32 year old player?
Maybe the Cleveland Cavaliers? If the Lakers want Larry Hughes and his $13.3M... Other than that, nothing going there.
Ah, the Dallas Mavericks... Josh Howard has a "Poison Pill" which makes him untradable. And they won't part with Dirk... NEXT!
To revel in schadenfreude; I love it!

Actually there has been talk about trading Ben Gordon, sure he is good but he is small. Around 6 feet I believe, I am a Gordon fan so I personally think they should keep him. Now about Kobe, he said he would stay if they got someone back as a GM or something.

According to Bootyboy, you blame the star play on the team. So you blame noone for the reason why the Clippers suck.
|
I read on Yahoo that Gordon might be on the block. Unfortunately, unless the Bulls can do some extra "sign-and-trade" thing with Noccioni, there's really nothing the Bulls can do.
And I do blame "star" play for a team sucking; it's that lack of team play by a star. The Clippers suck less, but have no stars. |
Lord, isn't that the point? If one player is the team, then the team loses. It's not tennis, poker or golf.
|
I just hope he stays out of the Raptors division.
A trade for Carter+ younger talent wouldn't be outta the question. |

Who should we blame for the Clipper sucking? ;) If you read any of the Clipper message boards, it's obvious. Not only is coach Mike Dunleavy to blame for their mediocrity, but he's also the cause of global warming, terrorism, and he eats babies. According to these Clipper faithful, if any random fan were to replace Mike Dunleavy as coach, the Clippers would shut out every opponent 250-0. He's that bad. Never mind the fact that he brought moderate respect to a laughingstock franchise, got the worst owner in professional sports to open his wallet and pay to keep players, persuaded same owner to build a state of the art practice facility after decades of renting time at local health clubs, and coached the team to its best season in 30 years. Sure, he's mediocre on the NBA level, but that's light years ahead of the usual Clipper coaches of the past few decades - Chris Ford, Jim Todd, Alvin Gentry?? These guys are barely assistant material. And yet certain Clipper "fans" seem to act like they've been spoiled with the likes of Jerry Sloan and Gregg Popovich, after whom Mike Dunleavy would actually be a step down. It's hilarious. The Clippers suck because they're a bunch of mediocre players with a mediocre coach. Plain and simple. They're better than a lot of NBA teams but they're also worse than a lot of teams. No one person to blame. When Elton Brand is your biggest star, you're in trouble. And I say that as a huge fan of the guy. When a 37 year old is your best point guard, you're really in trouble. I have a Sam Cassell jersey. The Clippers will struggle to make the playoffs for the next few years because most of the West is better than them. The Lakers will struggle because they are actually far worse than the Clippers except for # |
I am more of a Spurs fan, Tim Duncan has to have some of the most advanced skills ever.Yaaaah!
