I was cleaning out my 'junk-drawer' in my room the other day (you all know you have at least one) and I stumbled upon a CD titled "An introduction to programming; Using Visual Basic 4.0". VB's been one of the languages I've wanted to learn for a while now, but I was was too lazy to go out and buy any books or tutorials on it. I looked through a small example on converting fahrenheit to celsius, and after learning that much I said to myself, "This lacks Mobius-style semi-useless functionality". I then proceeded to add kelvin to the list of convertable temperature measurements, then remembered two obscure ones called rankine and reaumur. After spending a half hour looking up the conversion formulae to the latter two, I had made my first VB program. But lo and behold! The tutorial/compiler disc I had wouldn't let me make executables! After informing Tiberath of my plight, he took my project files and created an EXE for me. Go ahead and screw around with it if you wish, I stuck it in my files on the site 'ere.
cool. downloading now.
Heh, like you said mob, useless, but I did have fun converting... don't ask me why..
Behold for I can work miricles. Watch me turn these simple code files into, DUN DUN DUN an exe!
*Is awed and amazed*
Interesting. I'll use this in some random future school project.
