I guess I am a surgeon and a lawyer now, I've beaten Phoenix Wright, I watch House and Scrubs, and I have beaten Trauma Center for the DS and the Wii.

Reading it out loud. Make sure you vocalize every last spelling error! :P Even if you don't share it with anybody, they're pretty funny to play back and listen as you read along.

Well, a chakra is a sort of nexus point for spiritual energy found in Hindu and Buddhist traditions. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chakra . Naruto uses a bastardized form of traditional chakras, much like it uses a bastardized form on ninjutsu, which is largely a modern creation anyway. There is nothing indicating historical medieval Japanese fighters, soldiers, spies, etc. practiced a distinct martial art called "ninjutsu". Ninjas were a guerilla element that oppossed (and at times assisted) the rule of the samurai caste in feudal Japan. Like most rebels they utilized stealth, assasination, and pyschological tactics for very practical reasons.

But some narutard probably wouldn't know the difference anyway.

Well, more of a system for understanding the body and energy flow. But, yeah, basically. In most martial arts traditions, there is more to it than just combat maneuvers- there is an emphasis on everything from a moral code to conditioning. Just like religions do not limit themselves to mere spiritualism. It gets pretty complex; far more in depth than just making up some special attack and adding -jutsu while screaming. Or threatening people over teh innrwebz w/ur leet ninja skillz :-)
