Win.
GDT, that made me laugh. I haven't laughed like that for a while. <3
Okay with all due respect what's funny about GDT's recording? :(

That said, it's not really GDT's fault because the quote in this post isn't that funny either.
But it also means I have a Sixty Billion Dollar bounty on my head!!! D=

It's called a sixty billion double dollar bounty. :P
having spent several years studying Bujinkan Tai-jutsu (the hand-to-hand component of Ninjutsu) from Bud Malstrom - one of the few Americans to be qualified in such knowledge - long before many of you were even born, i can say that there is some truth to the existance of 'chakra' or 'body energy'.

but you'll never get any true ninjutsu practitioner to say that you can generate the kinds of energy power releases you see in the Naruto series. perhaps 10-15% of the 'masters' in Ninjutsu around the world have the ability to focus and channel chakra to allow their bodies to consistently exceed certain limits, whether it be strength, adrenalin, stamina, or some other physical or mental ability. but not to the extent of Takashi's Chidori technique or Naruto's Rasengan (yes, I do enjoy the show, and I'm 38 years old).

chakra requires a body trained to use it, and that requires many years of training, both physically and mentally. far longer than the kid in your post has been alive.

a lot of the illusionary techniques seen in the show have been referred to in real ancient Ninjutsu techniques. they all required a certain level of preparation and quick-thinking at the location of the event, just as any modern magician or illusionist would use in their public performances today. no fancy chakra required.

what i've been able to do with chakra consists of using the energy of my body to push away the pain of joints and muscles, and to extend or revitalize my energy and stamina - things that become useful during long bike tours or while playing Ultimate Frisbee in tournaments, or in my new passion: rock-climbing.

there is nothing new in learning how to control your body, or use it's energy to it's fullest potential. sorry naruto fan-boys, real chakra is not what you see in cartoons.
If halting the effect of pain is all it takes, I've been doing it for years. Endurance of physical assaults is something I've been able to do for quite a while. Maybe it was just the overly competitive side of me.

The old saying, if you fall, get back up and worry about it later.

The trick really, is to just concentrate really hardly on the task you're doing at the moment.
Wow. Really. That's all I can say about that kid.

God, what is this foul presence that has taken over the internet kiddies that makes them all so... Stupid? -_-
Youtube.

Really? I'm in a coma IRL, and I am stuck on the interwebz! I also happen to be a legendary man slayer, and an android with a cats brain. Also, SATA ANDAGI!

This means I'm typing 'lol' but I'm not laughing! OH NOES!

And I'm a sentient, non-anthropomorphic dog that leads a huge group of dogs against this giant monster and other dog with a huger army 'n' stuff.

Haha. <3

This could be the start of a fun trend.

There's a lot of those sorts of things on YTMND where someone reads a letter out in a comical fashion, it's becomming really popular. :)

That was hilarious btw!

lul noob, Naruto is way more L337 than those noob Bud Maelstorm. He is obviously a Rock Lee type who can only use taijutsu, but Naruto has the WILL OF FIRE and can learn many super hard to learn moves"!!!111oneone.
