I didn't know you could have MMO's other than an RPG. You can't consider action games because it's not an MMO, there just happens to be a lot of people online killing eachother.
I thought the only MMO game there could be was MMORPG. Or to a lesser extent, RTS and their browser games. | |

Since MMO just stands for "Massively Multiplayer Online", I'd imagine that it is independant of the game type...
If you could cram enough people into a Monopoly game to claim it was "massively multiplayer", you could call it an MMOBG (Massively Multiplayer Online Board Game) Why would it have to be an RPG (or RTS) to be an MMO? | |
Maybe MMPOG is it's own game type?, I've played Strategy MMPOG's before and FPS MMPOG's before, hmmmm, MMPOMG?....Massive Multiplayer Online Monopoly Game....NOW that would be awesome!!!...LOL, I'de play it :)
