Uh..yeah... anyone know any good music programs?

Can anyone recommend me any good programs to help develop music? I used to use Sony ACID and Finale but I want to know if there's any better program :S

It's part of my homebreqw NDS project.. which'll probbly die in a few months anyways.

Audacity is a great free audio editor. But it probably isn't what you want.
